Adult Illinois consumers ought to have the right to purchase any legal products available from the vendor of their choice. By stripping Illinoisans of their right to purchase wine and have it shipped to them from out-of-state vendors via HB 429, the legislature and the governor sought to protect the profits of special interests instead of interests of all Illinois residents. I fully support HB2462 to return to the adult citizens their right to obtain wine from the legal source of their choosing.
